I prefer to bake fruit in the fall and winter so thought I'd try out baking pears today. Super easy, less than 5 minutes of prep time, and yummy! Plus I've been using 1/2 pear as my pre-workout food! Not too heavy, and it's giving you the carbs you need to train properly.
Adjust the stuffing mixture to suit your taste. I didn't add any sugar, but you could add maple syrup or honey for a sweeter taste. Also substitute walnuts and/or pistachios for any nuts. I used Bosch pears but you can use any variety.
